It may be sound a bit strange but I really don't like the checkboxes used in GalCiv2 , rthe one like you can find in "options" and such
I mean their meaning is hard to understend.
Becouse on one hand they look like checkboxes so obiouse meaning if it "checked" then option is ON , but on the other hand the "x" thing drown inside checkbox makes you think the option is OFF (especially if its red colored).
So I suggest to change it somehow, for example to draw "V" style check instead of "x" style or change the border color to red when off and green when on.
Of couse this thing is minor but it's confusing.
