I am looking for an alternative to using the adobe reader. I have looked around a little for something to take its place and still function well but haven’t found anything that I feel does the job. Ideally the program would have these qualities. - Small footprint - an app as small as I can find that will open PDF files. - Browser integration - currently I am using the adobe reader and open all PDF files (online and offline) with Firefox. - F-word - FREE!- Just be a simple reader and not a pain in the assSo if anyone can suggest a good app to try it would be appreciated.
Hello, look at

This add-on seems to work well in FireFox - PDF Download
Thanks for all the help, ill try these out.
Sumatra PDF has a very high user rating is extremely light on resources.

Foxit Reader is the way to go.
Another vote for Foxit Reader.
I tried Foxit (but not Sumatra) I prefer PDF-Xchange Viewer which has a native x64 version.

Sumatra PDF is a great program. Starts up quick and is easy to use.
From what I have read here Foxit is a pain to remove.
Adobe Reader keeps crashing for me. So I could use a good replacement. Good choices here...thanks!
