Are the original campaigns playable in "Twilight mode"?

Hi

I just purchased GalCiv 2 ultimate edition and I would like to know if the original campaigns will be using the new features of twilight or if it is only the twilight campaign?

DL campaign will be much harder, and the mission "Siege" will be unwinnable because the win condition involves eliminating the Krynn, which are not present on the map. DA should be fine.
