If the Admiral ship in a fleet sinks, then all follow up tiny little Destroyers, Subs & Cruisers support that lie in its wake may just go down as well.
What i'm saying is that GC__2__ is such a core SD product that should be cared for as much as possible by any available staff (even if only a single half-an-hour per week by a lonely but important coder!).
Sure, the Spies point count loss in TA is important to some... but to me, and i will repeat myself... there ARE a number of features (or small Tweaks, mini Fixes, any sort wording & personal interpretation may suit yourself here) which could be backported to DA;
Tech Editor, Custom maps & Custom Planets compatibility, Surface Tiles proper naming hell of a mind wreck loop, Constructors automation, Green HardPoints, e_t_c_e_a_t_e_r_a.
Call it 2.03 or 2.0xxx, there is the busy employee(s) and there are some of the usual Business decisions.
In the meantime i'll keep on modding Enhanced Espionage stuff & ships, Terraforming a ride & Repair Crews pseudo-pending-concepts into DA & eventually upscale it all to TA... but, if the game itself can actually get better by some god's knows what Lucky shift of mega_events outside our control -- then, the value of this product goes far beyond industry Awards & users' needs. Including mine, btw.
