Trouble Logging in/Update

When I am trying to log in my account info/settings on the main page, I get the following message and im not sure if it is same account on main and for forums. I havent been on for about a year, and my old account still works, but for some reason i can get to my settings on the link from the forums:

Then When I try to update my game (Dread Lords) on using the impulse thing, I was able to log in, but when I try to apply the GC2: Dreadlords update 1.53.136 it says my account is expired. What does that mean? I privously had it on an old computer, had it registered on it, and was able to update it and all. I have 1.0X.010 version, which was the Dread Lors collectors edition, which came out before the expansions I think. But now I got a new computer and was able to install it, but I cant update it. Am I messing a step or need to unistall it on old computer? The product is registard on my account, as I can re-download it if I needed to. Any help would be great.

Well I was able to update my game, dread lords without expansions, by downloading star dock central that I had registared year or so ago. I installed that and was able to update it and the totorials, movies, and multimedia, and intall heightmaps, which it appears to improves the planetary graphics. After I read some recent posts about impulse vrs stardock central, it appears that impluse is newer, more stuff, and overall better, but still in infant stages. SdC is older and not really supported, and only 1st party games, but it did give me basic solid updateing. It seems I might need to use impulse to update the expansions if I ever get them, but I will cross that road when it comes. It seems i can access my account settings from the forum, and it looks to be the same as the main, not sure what was the problem with linking from the home page, could be a bad link?
