TA 098c[b].001 bugs

k, got the following bugs so far:

1. Once Dreign declared war on me with empty message. (I understood it was declaration of war on next turn where I saw it in a news log).

2. "Next turn" disappeared once after reload of game, strasngly enough another reload fixed the issue.

3. Space miner in "Improvment standby" mode (when all mines are built) does not resume mining if "Mining" technology researched. You have to click manually "stop auto" and then it starts upgrading mines.

I have a bug.. when I minimize the game then maximize it again I get an error and the game exits.

Other wise I have not found anything else yet.

I think there need to be some tweeking with the auto ship builder it does not 'seem' to build the ships right if you have all 3 of the sheilds/amor/point defence on at the same time.

Alt-Tabbing out gives me a fatal error of some sort.

Terror Stars almost always have to be selected by clicking on where they had been before they destroyed a star. (Fortunately the ship list selection is unaffected.)

In addition, whenever I used something like auto-attack and hit next turn, the turn button would disappear and I'd have to hit space a few times to let the various actions that were supposed to be running finish running and then have the turn happen before the turn button would reappear.

Specifically, I get the error when I return to the game, not when initiating the alt-tabbing. Let me repeat it and grab a screenshot.

Interestingly, it seems to only happen if I wait awhile before returning, though I have no idea what that time period is. More than a few moments, at least...to the point where I don't think I'll be able to get a screen shot.

But it's just a little error.

I just put my Thalian spies on Terrans Home world(Earth) and they don't show up in the espinoge window.

I can't get them back wither because the spy button is greyed out.

Hmm, they were all nullified the next turn, so it may have denied access to them prematurely.

Ok , more bugs and details

Sometimes "Next turn" become "SKIP" button but acts exactly as "Next turn".

In case of problem 2 ("next turn" disappears completely) reloading game once does not help , however reloading it twice one after another solves the problem - hope it gives you hint on how to fix.

And another thing , I am not sure it's a bug of feature but feels like a bug to me:

- When you have ship or fleet located on same place as starbase sometimes if enemy attack the starbase gets to fight , sometimes this fleet. And I was unable to understand the logic, sometimes totally defenseless starbase gets to fight and destroyed despite huge fleet "sitting" on same tile with it.

i have a bug. i start the game and all i see is a black screen for 5 minutes and it goes nowhere. i have to alt tab and manually close the game to get rid of it

Hi, I think I've hit a but in TA, the newest beta. I'm running Vista and the latest TA beta. While the game runs fine whenever I try to design my own ships I get a "String Not Found" once I've saved them and they don't appear on my starport screen. So, although I've researched denfenses such as ECM I can't use them. Apologies if this is a known issue. I think it's the first time I've hit a bug and not sure what to do with it. Thanks for a great game.
