Opening Movies

This may have been posted somewhere, but damned if I can find it.  Is there a way to turn off the opening movies?  Don't get me wrong, they're very entertaining and fun, but I don't need to watch them every time I start the game.

Umm . . . hit escape. As soon as the screen starts to lighten and I can hear the spinning Stardock logo begin to appear, I hit escape and presto-chango! there's the main menu.

I figure, why mess with trying to turn it off if all it takes is a slap on a quick button?

I think pressing any key will skip those, including a tap on a mouse button.

Go to your prefs.ini file and look for the following line: -

SkipIntro=0

0 = movies off
1 = movies on

the prefs file can be found in My Documents/My Games/(whichever version you are running)
The above entry is on line 5.
