If somebody hasn't mentioned this yet, would it be possible to allow colonies to build "older" (== cheaper) versions of labs and factories and so forth? 

I often will build down-rev ships on newer colonies to get stuff out faster, but it is a little depressing to have to wait for a top-o-the-line structure to get built on a new colony because I have no option to churn out a more basic one.  It would be nice to have a tab view on the planet management construction-queue page that groups buildings by type (research, production, social, special/achievement, etc) and allow me to build older/cheaper building types that I can upgrade later.  This would make it similar to the starship design page where I can load up older components if I wanted to (and filter the huge number of upgrades using a button).  Money being as tight as it is in TA, I often don't want to rush build my infrastructure.
