I am new to the metaverse experience, and have some questions after trying an experimental TA Tournament game. Here's what I did:
1) Created character, no problem.
2) Started TA, logged in, started a game on normal difficulty. I saved the game, disconnected, and played with it for a while. After establishing that I couldn't achieve a score greater than 11, 200, I started another one at "tough" to see if the scoring increased with the difficulty.
3) I uploaded the eventual result, with a score of 14,700, and an alignment of "Pond Scum". I call this an experimental game, since I saved near the end, then tried various "replays" of the last couple of months to try and figure out how the scoring worked. Fortunalely (last I checked) the game ended up in my "personal" area and not on the official scoreboard.
Now for the questions:
How, exactly, are the Society, Technology, Economy, and Military scores calculated?
Do I have to remain online for the duration of a game to post it to the scoreboard?
What are the criteria that will flag it as a "cheat", other than the 12-turn rule and altering the game data?
If I play a tournament map over and over, with different abilities and political parties, will they all post, or just the best score?
Thanks in advance for any information.
Edit: Well, now the game shows on the scoreboard. Perhaps a moderator will be so good as to delete it, since I did not intend for it to show up there. As you can see, I have much to learn about game submission and the metaverse in general.
