Beta 4a Bugs

I've had the chance to get well into a game with Beta 4A and can say that from my perspective it is a VAST improvement over Beta 4 in terms of playability, i.e., the ability to play without the game crashing or freezing up to any degree. The invasion bug and the "unresponsive game" bugs do indeed appear to be fixed. I've not experienced either. That being said, I am still "seeing" the invisible Drengin Super Dominator Corvettes. It's minor and does not affect game play to any great degree but it has been around for a long time.

Has the bug where upgrading a standardized ship been addressed yet? I've just stopped trying to upgrade standard ship and start from scratch. Unfortunately, I have been trying to play as each of the races, and I sometimes forget and about half of the time, the game crashes.

Found the following while playing dominion of korx:

1) Invisible frieghters and constructors. Something triggers it because they don't start out invisible, only after you make 3 or 4.

2) The sliders in the management screen do not reset if you start a new game without relaunching. IE if you set the the tax rate to 50% in a game then start a new game, the first click from the default 33% level goes to 51% not 34%. This does not happen if you relaunch the game.

I have now started to see other races with invisible ships. In fact, the longer the game went on, the more "invisible" ships "appeared." When I attacked those fleets or ships, the game crashed. I've already submitted the appropriate files to Stardock. I was unable to complete that game because of the crashes. In something that might be related, I've also noticed the reappearance of the blank ship component thumbnails. So far, no crashes from those.

I'm also noticing that the game can still hang up when my ships accidentally stumble into a space occupied by a star or planet. OF course, since they're my own ships, I can simply locate the ship and countermand its orders. This was not necessary however before TA. When this happened in those versions, the ship's orders were automatically countermanded without the need for player input.

When it is patched up to 4B, can you still play games from 4A? I have been playing an immense galaxy all weeend and would hate to loose that.
