Iconian Tech Tree, no auto upgrade for Merchant Emporium?

I can't find a setting to enable or disable automatic improvement upgrades, but basic behavior seems different than DA or DL.

As the Iconians under the 12/14 beta, I just researched Merchant Emporium, but Barter Station is still available on the Newest tab of the build queue area and my existing Barter Stations did not begin automatic upgrades.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior for Iconian econ buildings or other branches on the new tech trees?

You can only have one merchant emporium per planet, that's why it doesn't upgrade. It's a one shot only improvement.

Merchant Emporium is upgrade to the Barter Station. Your talking about the Merchant Trade Complex, LogicSequence.

They're all currently one shotters, vemarkis. Or they were in beta 3B. I haven't played the race in 3C to see if they fixed part of that or not.

This report is about the latest beta, i was just saying the Emporium is meant to be the upgrade to the Barter Station cause he was confusing it with the Trade Complex.

Right, and I'm saying when the Barter Station, Merchant Emporium and Merchant Trade Complex came into play, they all three could be built on a planet and none of them upgraded to another nor replaced the other in the build list. I made a comment about barter stations not going to Merchant Emporiums while in the IRC channel w/Cari Elf and it appears by your statements she changed it to where Emporiums are now the upgrade target for Barter Centers. If that's the case, then I'd think Merchant Trade Complexes would be the logical upgrade to Merchant Emporiums.

Merchant Trade complex can only be build one time per planet. While Barter station and Merchant Emporium are your standard eco buildings.
