Not a bug as such, but a comment on the ability (or not) to see racial techs. The first thing I did when I got the two betas was jump to the tech screen so I could see the groovy new race-specific techs. It took a while to realize that they're ID'd with race icons on the left side, but those icons are really dark and hard to see... maybe because they're the same color as the background graphic, but mainly they're just too dark. I'm using a color-calibrated pro graphics monitor, so I don't think it's my system. Everything else looks great. On some techs the white lettering will also stretch to cover up the icons.
Just my opinion, but I think racial techs should be more strongly identified in the tree, so you can see how your race is unique. That's a big selling point for the expansion, right? Those icons could be bigger, brighter, or maybe even a different box outline used for racial techs. Eventually every player will get used to the tree layout and available techs, but for a newbie, or someone who first sees the expansion pack, I think this should be showcased more.
Also (repeating a gripe I made in another thread about the tree design), right-clicking in the full tech tree view doesn't give the same information you get by right-clicking in the default view. I was moving around the fullscreen view and saw something new -- "Ah ha! Charging Stalks. Whazzat?" Right-clicking popped up a small box that said it was Charging Stalks (okay, got that), and that it would lead to New Improvement: Advanced Charging Stalks (well, duh.. I can see that on the tree view). I had to go back to the default view, right-click on it again, and now I get the actual description -- "Allows colonies to increase population and morale." Oh, so THAT's what a charging stalk does.
Why can't we get that information in the full screen view? Actually this is just another argument for combining those two into one screen, so we don't have to flip back and forth for descriptions, or to see a sorted list.
Finally, I'll repeat a request that right-clicking only show information, and not act as a selection in both tech views. Pretty Please? I don't want my currently researching tech to be reset, just because I'm trying to find info on a different part of the tree. It should work the same way it does for trading techs in the diplomacy/contact screen.... right-click for info, left click for selection.
Okay, back to hunting down and exterminating the meats.
