Last night I was playing a tiny/rare game; 1 opponent, me -Drengin, they- Terran. I sent an escorted transport to Terra, on autopilot. A couple of turns later, I noticed that they were moving at a crawl. Kona and Terra are practically next door to each other, yet it took 12 turns for my ships to arrive. When they did arrive, I could only attack one single time per turn, each turn, so this may be more related to incorrect movement points rather than a straight speed issue. Btw, these were standard ships, defenders and stock transport, 1pc speed, no bonuses. The AI's movement seemed to be normal. Needless to say, I was a bit worked up, and hit the turn button many times, trying to press the attack, and unfortunately neglected to save at this point, so I can't submit a savegame for this particular behavior. Sorry. The problem may or may not have resolved itself in game, but I can't be sure, since I went full bore research to try and bring my speed up. I was going to pay more attention to this, but got sidetracked because...
I decided to change tactics and soldier on, to see if any other unexpected things popped up. Pop they did. These next two problems happened at approximately the same time. (Although this may be coincidence). I designed a much more powerful ship, and after building a couple of these on Kona, I launched two of them to escort another transport. The problem is, they won't fleet up. This is because my logistics points had dropped to 0. They were around 22, iirc. Reloading doesn't resolve the problem. Here is a screenshot to illustrate. I remembered to save at this point, and will send the savegame along.
The third bug may be one that has already been fixed, but I will mention it anyway. The Terrans got snarky and declared war, so I set three of my planets to build the new, powerful design that I mentioned earlier, the 'Drengin V-1' . They were getting close to being complete (6 turns left out of 14), when they vanished from all three of the build queues. When I went into the shipyard, the design had vanished entirely. The two ships that had already been built and been sent out of orbit (the ones that wouldn't fleet) are still there, however. Another custom ship of a different design 'Drengin Command Ship' is still being built on another planet, and it is still in the shipyard, I hope that I don't lose that one also, as I am rather pleased with the way it turned out. Again, this may be part of the: "+ FIXED: Bug in the ship hardpoint data code that could cause the game to not find the shipcfg for a ship", but I only heard of this happening in the shipyard, and this was midgame.
I am sending along my debug and savegame. Hope these can be of help. Best of luck, Mistralok.
