Once I hit 'Save' on my new design, it returns to the main shipyard, but the new ship is not available to build. I have tried small, medium and large to no effect.
Hmm, it seems to have something to do with my names. I always use the following convention:
Sz W## D## #X
where Sz is the size of the hull, W is the type of weapon, D the type of defenses and X the speed. So:
Lg B24 PD12 2x is a large craft with two Psionic Beams, some Point Defenses and a few engines.
I just tried naming the same ship "dsabsadlgdal" (ie random key-mashing) and it saved fine. Is TA getting confused with old ships I designed for previous games of DL/DA?
