Howdy.
I stumbled across these bugs while playing 1.

:
1. Space miners don't initiate construction of a mining base when they are autopiloted to an asteroid. I found that I need to autopilot them to an adjacent space and then manually move the last stretch to the asteroid.
2. Resource mining starbases sometimes seem to disappear. I suspect it's only level 1 mining starbases; when I upgrade to level 2 the starbase appears again. Before that, however, the starbase graphic doesn't display (so the naked resource looks real tempting) but of course when you select it you see the display for a mining starbase.
3. In one of my games I had some asteroid mines way behind my front lines. I was baffled when they began displaying the "skull-and-crossbones" of influence pressure, even more so when the info tab said the enemy's influence over them was 999999.999 or something outrageous like that. They weren't covered by my sphere of influence (nor anyone else's -- they were out in empty space) but the five planets in their nearest vicinity were mine.
4. Lastly, I found I am able to rename enemy planets. While it is immense fun to rename Korath capital planets to "Toilet World" or "Planet Dumbass", it doesn't seem likely that they'd agree with the change

Dark Avatar is an awesome expansion. I really dig the fact that colonisation goes on late into the game thanks to the hostile planet technologies. The espionage is cool, I always wanted to sabotage stuff in DL!
Thanks
