Stardock, what planetary invasion changes will there be in TA?

Stardock or anyone else who can share with me, first off, will Twilight of the Arnor be abbreviated as TA or ToA or T of the A?

Also, I was wondering if anyone from Stardock can give me and other players a more detailed account of what planatary invasion animation and other planatary invasion changes are being made with this new expansion pack. You guys boast about the improved improvement graphics, star graphics, planet graphics (which I am very greatful for btw), but what desperately needed graphics changes to invasions will be implemented? Will Thalin troops charging the fields of battle actually look insectoid and not human like everyone else? If I research steller marines, will you see soldiers in power armor or something like that charge the fields and kick a#@? If I have plasma tech and my opponent laser tech, can we see my green beams against their red?

Planet invasions would be infinetely funner with just a few, simple tweaks. You could keep the graphics quality the same for all I care. However, a little more variety to ground combat, in that at least the soldiers look like their race will go a long way.

While the Invasions screen is being completely changed, the actually invasions themselves will remain very streamlined with only simple interactions (no tactical combat).

The 'atari' looking soldiers will be gone forever, and in their place...well...something better We'll drop screenshots as they become available.

So essentially the graphics will be enhanced, but the mechanics of how invasions themselves will work will be the same in that you just watch the battle with the same asteroid strike, newspaper drop, and other options as before. AWESOME!!! No need for tactical combat, I am content to watching the battle unfold automatically like ship combat. Just would like something more interesting to watch with more variety. Thanks Stardock.

Oh and if we could see a death animation movie if you use spore ships..... AWESOMENESS.

Might have to get the "rated R" or I guess the "rated M17" mod for the game though.....

I guess I can dream.

Hopefully the humans, as well as the other races, will have their very own uniuqe mech like units, as well as soliders.

Will every race get its own vehicles and soldiers? So far, there are only 2 models for the Tank and the Large vehicle, which all the races share. When I tried to change it, the game crashed. :/

I agree, I think each race should get different army units, and there should also be a few extra ones you could select from in the custom race options. (Giant Walker instead of the rolling warehouse anyone?) Custom races should also be able to choose a different representative for each tier of the units like... Korath Infantry, Thalyn Tanks, Krynn Warehouse thingies...

I don't know, just running my mouth here but I think it would be a nice change.
