I've found something that I don't entirely understand... If I have winamap playing music, and I get an out of memory, I can alt-tab out of DA, close winamp, say ya to the error dialog, go back into game, and then save. (without an error, and 2 for 2 a valid save) (then say thank god, and quit out)
What I don't get is that I thought the memory issue only had to do with the process limit, not really what was avaliable. What I'm wondering is, do I get an out of memory sooner because I have winamp going? (but at least when it happens I can deal with it)
I'm running a new quad core machine with 3GB of ram btw.
Has anyone else seen this?
