I played the GC2 DA since two weeks ago, this game carshed once a hour. It crashed once four or five hours when I played GC2 DL five months ago. The screen and mouce/keyboard were freezed and I can hear continuous "click" sound. (sure it isn't hard disk issue). Then I have to reset my computer. This Wed, I did following three ways, this issues seems to be resolved. Only a crash in two days, and this crash is "return to desktop" with a dialog, it is different with previous crash ones.

1. Update Nvida driver from 91.xx to 95.xx (91.xx is 12/26/06 version, so I doubt this update resolved this issue).
2. Change XP system from "Adjust best performance for Program" to "for System cache".
3. Add a small radiator to "South Bridge" IC of my computer. (As this way resolved "randomly blank screen" issue of my another P4 compueter, so I try it again to my this new 2006 computer. As it's dangerous, my suggestion is that you can open your computer and use a common fan against your "South Bridge" IC to test it).

Those ways really resolved my issue, hope it helps if you have the same crash with "click" sound issue. Good luck.
