So i'm thinking of buying..

Well, I am thinking of buying this game, direct download.
The problem is, before I buy it, I want to clear up whether it'll work or not.
I have dreadlords, and that I got on disk.
So if i get the direct download of Dark Avatar, will it work?
Just so you know, I using a CD of dreadlords from England.. if that makes any difference.
