That's what happens when you buy a bootleg. You get what you pay for.

That alone would be forgivable, if you simply didn't know any better. But coming here and asking for someone to share a serial to use with your pirated copy isn't going to get you anywhere but banned.

I also recently obtained a "bootleg" version by accident (by buying off Ebay). As a person who got burned by buying many bad games, I often download a copy to see if a game is worth buying before deciding to spend my hard earned money on a game.

So, I actually spent money on a game that I thought was worth it, and ended up getting burned with a pirate/bootleg copy. Everyone should be very careful when buying off Ebay and the like, as all I did was end up putting money in the hands of criminals anyway.

Not trying to flame anyone, just offering my perspective. I also think it is a bit silly for the OP to think someone would actually give him their serial number.
