events not happening

In the latest beta I have not hade an event occur while founding a colony for my first 7 colony's I founded.

Before I remember getting an event when founding a colony. Is this a planed change. I did get a event that affected the whole empire once. It did not occur while founding the colony.

I'd just chalk it up to bad luck if you've only gone seven without an event. If you colonize more, you'll probably get some.
