How to view movies

Does anyone know how to view and get rid of the little movie of the race you want to interact with on the screen, such as when trading technology? I want to replace those little movies of the races with a picture instead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can view the movies outside the game (and make new ones, AFAIK) using RAD Video Tools.

If you're playing DL, you can change which trade portrait or movies the race uses by modding RaceConfig.xml (be sure to back it up!). If you're playing DA, you can also modify it in the .customracexml files in My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar.
