When will the rest of beta 1.6 be released?

It was mentioned that game tweaks etc. would be released later, after the initial bug fixes that's already available. Is there any ETA on when these will be posted? I'm holding off on trying things out until I have those as well.

... i think the point of delaying the game modifications was so that we would use the fixes and get them working first. telling the devs that your not helping them out, refusing to use he bug fixes till you get the candy is probably not the best way to get your question answered just a thought...

I'm just waiting to see if there have been any changes to the tech trading. I'm not sure if I even want to play the game with things the way they are now. Besides, I've been busy with Oblivion lately. I haven't had any time to play any thing else. If I saw enough in the game tweaks to get me interested, I might be convinced to put it away for awhile.

Noticed tech trading seems to be slightly easier now.

My real issue with the tech trading is that the AI-AI rules are different then AI-player rules. It's one of the few areas where the AI is incomplete/lacking (it's moderate at worst though- definitely a smaller issue then most games have)

my issue with tech trading isnt so much how the AI is tough or not, its the AI making dumb desicions. I know its extreamly hard to code the AI to beter value cirtain techs. Some techs just shouldnt be traded... but then again if your going to give them 3 or 4 planets.... well... im just saying. and the AI-AI trading is also a very big issue. and is a MUST fix in my oppinion.

and Belanos, i agree with you on not really being all about playing the game untill the other updates come out, if i had a different game to play id probably be playing it instead. but since i dont i figure ill just help them out by giving the beta a good thorough testing... didnt mean to come across so dick befor.

I'm also anxious to see what ideas they've incorporated into the patch from those two really long threads that they themselves started. There was a ton of ideas bouncing around and I'm really curious to see what they come up with out of that. There were a couple of things that came up a number of times in those threads, one of the biggest being a rework of starbase management, and I'd like to see just how much they've responded to the community.

Stardock Central's support of beta modules is still iffy. I'm working with the SDC team to make the support more bullet proof before going forward further.

Stardock Central's support of beta modules is still iffy.

That's my keyword: I don't know how that happened, but somehow I ended up with "v1.6 beta 1 Dark Avatar" (according to the main game menu) despite not having checked the "pre-release versions" checkbox in Stardock Central. SDC says I'm running DA 1.59.078 - whatever that means.
