what can prevent loading a game to metaverse?

I just completed what feels like an epic battle at a high game setting and after winning was given no option to load to the metaverse. there was in fact no messages at all after completion. I have sucessfully started and saved games before (4 times) but this is the second time that I was *sure* i had created the game correctly in the metaverse but after winning was unable to load it.

could any of the following be the cause?

1. changing via start screen some of the standard race traits?
2. restoring to an earlier saved game?
3. viewing xml game files under data\english? (dont think i accidentally changed or saved any).
4. are there any other actions which could take a metaverse started game and make it unregisterable on completion?

I would like to start a new epic... (game being too short a term) but find that after 2 attempts of 6 failing i would really like to understand why. of course it is always possible that i have missed something in the creation sequence - but i dont think so.

appreciate any guidance on what could invalidate a game.

If a game was intentionally invalidated, it would have allowed you to submit it but you'd get a cheat flag when you did.

If the game was started properly as a metaverse game but there was no prompt to submit at the end, then it may be some sort of bug. I'd suggest zipping your endgamesave along with your debug.err from when you finished the game but got no submit prompt, with a specific description of the problem, and sending them to [email protected].

BrianPitut. I had a similar problem.
I emailed support.
A couple of days later I got a reply saying my problem was fixed and then the game submitted just fine.
