Patch for PQ bug? - DA

Devs is there a patch planned for the PQ issue bug in DA.

The issue i am reffering to is the one where you lose all upgraded tiles when you invade a planet. As it stands at the moment it does nearly ruin the game for those who like a military win.

Brad's made mention of a 1.5X in-house version, though there's no release date set for it. I'm sure this bug's fixed in that, though, since it's one of the few big issues with the release version.

Can you explain what you mean by "lose all upgraded tiles"? By upgraded tiles do you mean all tiles gained from habitation and terraforming? Just the tiles on the planet you invade, or all of your upgraded tiles for your entire civilization?

I havent played DA much, just DL, so I am not yet familiar with this bug.

tiles you (your opponent) gained from terraform et al; just the tiles on the invaded planet.

there's also a PQ bug that planets upgraded by these techs don't reflect a higher PQ level, and therefore keep a lower pop cap, morale bonus, etc (the bug goes away if you're playing neutral).

Ahh, I wondered why improvments would vanish after I'd invaded planets.

It's a bug. Look forward to the patch

Seen as the game ultimately pushes you to a military victory above everything else the existence of this bug is one that should be rectified instantly. Having a bug that renders half of an invaded planet useless and reduces habitability to next to nothing needs rectifying!
More than anything else in the game this 'bug' is a game breaker for quite a few people. A growing number of people are switching back to DL to play a MV game as this issue has reduced the DA game to a shadow of what it should be.
Stardock please get a fix for this bug out ASAP

guys, Cari and the other devs are working on it, but nobody knows when its gonna be released.

I want this bug fixed as bad as you guys, but just gotta wait.

We know they are working on it and have to wait, that is obvious! All we would like is an approximate date of the patch release so we know when we can go back to playing the game again

The bug doesn't go away. Any tiles upgraded BEFORE you choose your alignment will still not be counted toward the PQ. My Mars, for example, should read as 10, but it only reads as 8, since I upgraded 2 tiles before I declared as neutral.

Drengin does have a point. This bug is huge in a game where the object is primarily to conquer planets. Even if a patch only fixes this one thing, it would be worth releasing it now, and work on other problems later. My games tend to take me weeks to complete, but I will not be starting another DA game until this problem is fixed.
