Disease event bug?

Running the beta patch that was available the evening of 22 December.

Got hit with the event where you have to research the cure for a disease.

One autosave happened before it, and a second autosave happened after it fired. The two files are about a minute apart.

When I was preparing to switch ship constructions on my planets, 3 of my 4 designs had disappeared, even though I have 'save ships to hard disk' checked.

Is this a bug, or a side effect of the disease making the citizens apathetic and forgetting to keep the blueprints?

I'll move the autosaves to a separate place if you need them sent.

Are the designs present in the 'previous' autosave then, but not the other?

Exactly, I saw them in the 'previous autosave' file, but not when I loaded the more recent 'autosave' file. Sorry for not making that more clear, it was about 4am when I posted that.

Have you checked your miniaturisation ability? It is put equal to 0% when you have the disease event (well it was in beta2 when I had the event). So, if you used any of this extra space, you won't be able to use your present designs.

That may be what it is, as I had reached at least the first level of miniaturization.
