Planets larger than stars?

I'm just curious if this was intentional or a bug. I'm all for having big planets mind you, but shouldn't the star always be larger than the planet? That would mean of course you'd be making everything larger, which is kinda pointless. But i suppose you could use some sort of perspective scaling, making everything smaller as you zoom out. I dunno, i just found this shot odd... Can't even fit the selection cursor around the star or some of the planets.

Probably a bug related to the new code that is supposed to make planets' size be based on their class.

yea but that big guy, the one that's about 2wice as big as the star, its a class 0. Anyways, should i do the normal debug savegame etc etc... stuff? or is this one already worked up?

A savegame to gc2bugs would probably be handy as both a reminder and for easy reproduction of the bug.

Yup been getting this a lot in my last couple of games with B2. Will email over a save game as soon as it appears in the next one.

PS Kryo did the guys manage to stop the ship 'bobbing' in the fight sequences?

I don't really think I care to much for the size being based on planet class. I mean if it has to be done, who am I to contest it. It just does not seem to be right. You should have large useless planets as well as small "Eden" type planets. In my humble opinion it should be variable.

Oh, and one thing that i had noticed but thought was maybe just me. The stars are bigger too. The cursor doesn't fit around them any more, at least not all of them. Some appear smaller than others.

I found the problem and toned down the maxium planet size for class 0 planets (they use a diff algorithm for planet size than class 1 and up planets, which have their size based on quality ). I also toned down the star size so it won't overflow into other tiles.
