Changing AI - is it possible?

Is it possible to change some AI features:
- Stars and planets position during the creation of the galaxy, i.e. does it possible to create a galaxy with equal distants from one star to another, or two groups of stars in the contrary sides of the galaxy?
- The AI tactick. Can I force him to build only scouts or researchers and no colony ships? concentrate on one branch of techtree? send no separate ships but only fleets? smth like this?

- Does the population growth model changeable?

Erm, only one of those is an AI feature.

1: I think it's possible to mod custom maps. Don't know how though.

2: No. Or rather, you can attempt to by giving the techs you want them to research a higher priority, but you can't mod the AI to change it's research tactic.

3: No.

I think he's German. As AI has a differnt meaning to them. I just noticed how he spelled his name and "Tactick" has a k.
I forget what they use for their Artificial Intelligence, but it's not AI.

And just so you understand what we think of as AI:

AI is the decision making algorithm by a computerized opponent. This is true for all games across the board.

Things like the growth model and the universe creation would be considered separate algorithms inside of the game.

german meaning for AI is "KI" which is the shortform of "Künstliche Intelligenz"
