I noticed in my current game (Painful Gigantic Seven Races all abundant), that some Races were declaring war and peace almost on alternate turns.
The triggering Event was where a Race (Alterians in this case) became too powerful "and all should declare war on them" produced a flurry of activity and battles everywhere. In the middle of the mayhem, some Races would declare peace with the Alterians (despite their losses etc etc ...) and promptly declare war again two or three turns later. Some of them 'got the bug' and had a go with each other at the same time, masochists ....
In the middle of all that (it got pretty hectic, the busiest I seen it, kinda fun in a way....) the game repeated about every six or seven turns that "...... Alterians have become too powerful and at a secret meeting all decided war had to be declared". Its still going on as I type, dont know what is triggering these repeated "secret meetings" but they are not necessary in that frequency - maybe a balancing bye product of the AIs continually declaring peace ? Dont know, a guess. They are slowly been worn down, another 20 turns or so and they will be 'normal' and doubtless we will go back to the normal hatred of each other ....
I never declared war as the Alterians declared on me first as a result of "...... and we have decided after 100 years observing you its time to destroy you" - quick decisive thinkers these guys

. Very shortly after they did that the mayhem described above began
The events were neat, activity is good and a nice idea, just seemed a little off balance having secret meetings every 6/7 turns with same outcome and continuous war/peace declarations by some AIs.
Probably "as coded" at present and not yet balanced, but whatever the reason, there it is for what its worth.
