Not worth a thread for each - just minor ones
Asteroid Hang Ups
No ship in DA is safe
All will hang up on an asteroid belt, thats either by design (and I can understand the surface logic) or its a 'partial' bug. Your own ships - even the miners - will hang up on a completed mining station. If its manually guided by the player, thats the players problem, no sympathy. However it does it on 'auto' ie when it selects its path after the player clicks on destination.
In the latter case the journy can be over multiple turns, and is in effect out of the player's control. Its therefore frustrating - and a bit silly - when it hangs up on its own mining station a few Sectors away. The latter can be common on a Gigantic map. In effect 3 turns are used up sorting it out, plus the loss of the remainder of the aborted journy.
If it was inside the fog of war, or not yet developed, or inside an AI AOI. then fair enough, hazards of exploration etc. But its frustrating and unrealistic for it to hang up on your own mining stations, even the miners do it and they built them
They should be programmed to steer round your own stations in the same way that ships auto steer round other ship in their way, when guided on auto or set off on long multi-turn journys.
AI TributeReal minor one, but a little unrealistic. Every now and then I get the "pay or die" message in the early game. On a good number of occasions however the threatening AI is literally in the far corner of the map, which in the early game is a pointless challenge as the AI would take around 100 weeks to reach me at 2 parsecs a turn, let alone try and invade me with the equivalent of a bat and ball that we all have early game. Not the end of the world, but would be nice to include some kind of distance test to the challenge - ie no challenge if greater than "X" Sectors away etc. It would stop the game looking a bit silly with an obviously irrelevant threat.
