Here are all the bugs and suggestions from my first and current game.
GNN-screen:
* Nullifying an agent from the GNN doesn't return the player to the GNN afterwards when it's done. The GNN for that turn is lost.
* All GNN reports of agent nullifyed or enemy agent detected appears one turn after the player can see them on the main map or in the epsionage-tab.
Place/Remove Agent-screen:
* Looking at an AI planet where both the player and other AI:s have agents, it isn't possible to visually see which agents belong to the player and which belongs to the AI.
* It isn't possible to remove the players agents from a planet that has been conquered by another AI. They don't show up on this screen even though they are still there. The player must remove them through the espionage-tab.
Research Complete-screen & research tooltips:
* The info abot the enviroments technologies say that they give 'Colonise ... +1'. +1 should be +50%. This is also wrong when right-clicking up a research tooltip.
* There are some missing information in this screen. Info that is available in the research-screen but not here are 'New Asteroid Field Mining Base Modules', 'New Ship Components', 'New Starbase Modules', 'New Invasion Tactics' and 'Future Techs'.
* There are some missing information in the tooltips. Info that is available in the research-screen but not here are 'New Asteroid Field Mining Base Modules', 'New Ship Components', 'New Starbase Modules' and 'New Invasion Tactics'.
Starship Intelligence Report:
* The report has the number of troops in a fleet with multiple transports wrong. When I had a fleet with 2 transports (1000 troops each), the report said 4000 troops. When I had a fleet with 3 transports (1000 troops each), the report said 9000 troops.
Graphical bugs:
* The 'Time to Next Agent'-bar on the espionage-tab that fills up with color as the time is reduced isn't correct. It is often completly filled when there are still many turns left.
* Focusing and unfocusing a planet in Colony Management changes the looks of the clouds over the planet in the picture to the left.
* I've had invasions where there isn't any ground or horizon picture, instead it was completly black.
* Whenever I attacked a single space miner, constructor or colony ship with a fleet, my bottom ship would visually fire straight upwards instead of at the enemy ship. It died all the same but the shot didn't even came close to the enemy.
* The rebellion icon that appears next to a mining base doesn't appear close enough. If you zoom in, it will appear in the square NE of the base.
* Drengin's mining bases are white when zoomed out to icon-map-mode, not red.
More bugs:
* Planetary Defense bonus doesn't show up under planet bonuses in planet details.
* All trade routes to a planet aren't cancelled when it's conquered by the player.
* When a mini-freighter is on the same square as one of the players planets, the planet is unenterable from the main screen since it's part of a stack.
* After the player attack an enemy with a ship or fleet and wins, the information about the ship/fleet doesn't update until the player click one extra time on the ship/fleet.
UI:
* First what seems to be an oversight. When constructing a starbase, you get to the Starbase Management-screen where the player choose the type of starbase. There is a box filled only with space and stars. My guess is that the currently selected starbase is supposed to be seen there.
* When the player begins a trade route with an AI, there is information where it came from and which the destination planet is. I would like to see that information when an AI begins a trade route with the player. It isn't currently there. It would be useful since it's very easy to miss which planet the AI began trading with.
* When a ship is on auto-pilot, I would like to see the number of weeks to the destination somewhere in the information about the ship. There is currently no way of seing this if played zoomed out.
AI.
I know that the AI isn't in any way done yet but here are a couple things that I found very odd in my game.
* AI can design ships with only defences. I see no reason for this.
* All 9 major AI:s researched the same weapons, missiles.
* None of the AI:s put a single engine on any combat ship of theirs in the whole game so far (currently 4-5 years long). They put them on other non-combat ships though.
* Thalan AI declared war on me because of my close transports. Problem is, I didn't have any transports that he could have seen and I don't see any of his planets since he is on the other side of the map.
I also have one question. How do you choose which direction ships shall leave orbit from a planet?
Thanks for reading.
