Happened twice so far in the early game (first 12 game months).It was not picked up by SmartExceprion even it was running in the background, and neither was it recorded by Debug.err. Real strange ...

First time I was right clicking to move a ship, and milliseconds later, bang I was looking at the desktop with the error message "Fatal Error" as a title, and the text was "Invalid Cell". Also on screen was a popup box from windows update asking if I wanted to install new updates that were ready. Dont know if that popup coming up triggered something that caused an invalid cell.

Second time I was again right clicking to move a ship, and bang. No popup in the background this time.

Sorry its a bit vague, but its all I have at the moment, SmartException and debug.err didnt kick in for some reason. I'll post again as it happens.
