News Icons are unreliable

The blue and green News Icons on the right that announce the completion of ships or builings seem to be buggy. It seems there can't be more than about 20 per turn. This is really annoying when your playing gigantic galaxies and build lots of ships. I often have to check the hole map to see if I sent off all ships.
These icons are very usefull, i just wish they worked right.

These icons are very usefull, i just wish they worked right.

They did seem to have an overflow problem in v1.2. But in v1.31 they seem to be working great. What rev are you playing?

Please make sure you are using the most current update ( version 1.31 )

In the latest version, if the right side of the screen fills up with icons and there are more news items, clicking on an icon will dismiss that icon and the next icon (that wasn't yet displayed) will appear and fall into place. There is only a limited amount of space that can be used to display the icons, so instead of overlapping them, they stay hidden until more room is opened up. If you keep hitting the turn button, the icons will eventually expire and disappear ( including the hidden icons )

Thanks for the reply, but the problem really is there.
I'm playing 1.31. I know about the expiring icons and the overflow problem that has been solved.
But I still dont get all the icons i should get.
In the last turn i got 4 or 5 green icons and nothing else but when i checked in the planet list I found 13 brand new ships and several planets that had just completed their build queue. None of that was mentioned anywhere.
At the beginnig of that turn the game did an autosave! I think that may have suppressed the other icons.

And while I'm at it: The planet list jumps back to the top when you launch a ship from the selected planet. Why?

Seen this problem regularly with v1.31. Seems to happen after a turn where there are many news icons (which do scroll down as they are cleared, exactly as they're supposed to). The problem always occurs on the following turn(s) when I get zero, or only a few of the green & blue icons that should be there. I suspect that the "overflow" from the previous turn is not being cleared out from somewhere which is preventing the new entries from appearing.

It's not autosave related, as I have that disabled.
