Huh? My recent post never appeared! Well, here it is again...
I encountered some weird decisions regarding war. Here is an example:
In Huge Galaxy map, Thalans was in topright corner, my enemy in bottomleft and me in the middle. My relationship with Thalans was Friendly. Relationship between Thalans and enemy was bad!
I was conquering enemy planets one-by-one. Very succesfull too. Suddenly in one turn Thalans declared war on me, because Thalans don't accept any troops traveling in his territorium. I was very surprised!
Well, I happen to have only 2 Troops left. All of them in the enemy territorium (well, now floating around my conquered planet). I don't have any ships in the Thalans territorium! Now I found that the Thalans had only 1 thing in the enemy territorium: a non-functional influence starbase, about 2 steps away from my fresh planet!
That is the reason for starting a war, that will cost them dearly? I think this as a weird decision. Perhaps a bug in GC2 programming?
What do you think? Got any weird AI decisions, too?
