1.Latest Xvid Codec
2.Mp3 codec (99% people have this)

This teaser is made for the upcoming 2nd beta release of the Star Trek Mod Team - THE NEW BEGINNING for Gal CIV 2.

No not the Star Trek Future Mod, the other one .


Here is a Tid bit of information about the mod

First, I have to say that this next release could not of been enhanced this much with out the help of Deathbychi, and Spaxspore... Deathbychi has been doing some imaging for us, and Spaxspore, well he's done a complete upgrade on media files of us, much like his work on the Bab5 Team. When you guys see this you will be floored! I guarantee it!

We will have over 700 MB of material.... Over 200 MB of just ships, data files, and graphics.... Around 500MB of Media Files all done by Spax.

The image on the very top is an IN-GAME image of the backdrop for the TECHTREE, imaged by DeathbyChi, it uses ONLY IN GAME MODELS OF SHIPS YOU ALSO WILL FIND IN GAME.

Refits:
- 10 Races - YES, this release will have a total of 10 Races.
- 10 Ship Styles - YES, this release will have a ship style specific to each race.
- 99% of all Media files will of been replaced by Spaxspore
- New Graphics added by DeathBychi (his work is amazing)
- Many other enhancements including improved Title Screen, High Res planets, over 120 ships total!

EDIT: COP-OUT! lol nah, good scenes overall, but I would have killed for some fraps of the mod in action Still can't wait for it to come out

Nice this looks cool, for the less tech minded of us will you include instructions for installation and use, or will we have to hunt that down from SD?

How easily will the upcoming mod be installed and removed?
Also are you striving for a 100 percent mod? In any case looks impressive so far.

yes 100% mod, even the robots will be changed (you know the little dude who comes up and tells u have finsihed researching)

no it may look ok in the pic, but in game some pics r smushed, now am not blaming our mod team, cause its very hard to find good hi quality portraits of the cast believe it or not.

I like the more artistic feel my self.

Well to be honest I haven't even played the first version they released, I've been waiting for the follow up. One reason is due to the whole race stats, there just way messed up in my opinion. I don't mind the originals except for the romulans, it's too dark. If yours were going to be color then I'd say yours but I've never been a big fan of b&w anything....sorry lol
