Ameorn: It shouldn't matter what language version of Windows XP you have installed. All Microsoft apps (unless otherwise indicated) should install okay.

If you go to your device manager (Right click my computer -> properties -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager), does everything look okay there?

Could you go to Start->Run, type dxdiag and press enter, then click the save all information button and post the text here?
