THESE ARE ALL SUGGESTIONS & OPINIONS! DONT GET MAD!
1. Assasins - Try to assasin the race leader, kill fleet commanders and such
2. Commanders - Captains and heroes of fleets, that gives certain bonuses
3. Tactical Space Combat - Enhances the chance of winning against tougher odds
4. Tactical Ground Combat - Enhances the change of winning against tougher odds
5. Advanced Spying - You should be able to destroy a factory or something on planets
6. Upgraded AI (NOT THAT THE AI IS BAD, ITS GREAT). But it has a couple of flaws like: Not building on tiles, Slow research (to few research factories) (when tech trading is off), Makes dumb threats when they cant show for it, Leaves 10+ planets alone an colonize 5+
7. Lots and lots of shipsets ^^ - Not just for You, Human and so on. But for every race that is in the game. And more models
8. Advanced Diplomacy - Both for user choises and the AI's use
9. More Random Events - Not just those who enhances or decreases certains stats but:
a) Solar flares (that is viewable, aka the stars is "erupting" flares)

Real black holes (after collapsing suns, that will bull the ships/fleets 1-2 spaces a turn and do damage when to close),
c) Waves of energy of different sorts (that really moves through viewable.
d) Supernovas (I KNOW that it is unlikly! BUT it could happend. MANY stars are VERY VERY old and might not be able to burn for much longer, the supernova should destroy everyting in that solarsystem AND there should be a pulse after it (like a wave) that takes longer time to reach other places (it is possible but unlikly. But it should be impossible, it COULD be a random event that says "The sun of betleguse will go supernova/collapse/expand (aka giant) in 3 months (after the event you have time to evaquate.
10. Transporters - Population Transport for evaq., moving and so on.
11. Carriers - Fighter battles
12. Different star sizes... Its extremly UNLIKLY that every star is the same size
13. Different suns makes different conditions of the plants that is orbiting. Make something up^^ (like extreme vegitation, Instable planet with earthquakes and such)
14. Natural Disasters
15. Colonizing moons (not very likely because of how the game is build.
16. Diffent looks on planets factories, Diffent look at the techs aswell like:
a) You have human shipsets and you research Laser. It should have a specific look and not look the same as every other laser in the galaxy. For that part Engines & Weapons & Defences should look totally different and more choises. How likely is it that two races research laser? Its more likely that one race goes for Ion, Disruptors, other different space weapons.

the factories and such should look different. Quite dull to have every planet in the galaxy to look exactly the same. (Humans have their style, Drengin has their own)
17. If its a battle over a planet (aka not invading but clrearing out the ships that are defending) It should have the planet in the background, and the planets should be able to have som sort of weapon in the surface that shoots up (IF build)
19. Mercenary - You should be able to hire mercenary
