So I know this will sound a little wierd to try but I thought I would test out the flexibility of the software and well... I got the game to hang and but good.
So I am playing a game on normal difficulty in a tiny galaxy with 6 other races. Its well into the game and I am 1 week into the 10 weeks needed for a cultural victory. I am at peace with everyone and friendly or better relations. I am the furthest advanced in tech, military, economy, and number of planets (thanks to some good placement and willingness to go into a little debt early to colonize some far off worlds). Every other race is going to war on and off with all the others due to some inter-alliances with the Yor, Tholians and, Arceans dragging everyone else in periodically. I have balanced everyone else by creating trade routes evenly with the other races and a lot of economic starbases. So, its late game and I decide to try allying myself with 5 of the 6 races (so I won't get an automatic victory). The game lets me ally with everyone, though many of the races are fighting with the other ones. Then the next turn, everything moves as normal but it hangs, not letting me do anything. The processor reads 100% activity and all I can assume is that the game is trying to decide who I should now be at war with and who should be with me but can't seem to due to the web of allies.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a known bug or just something so "illogical" the computer just can't handle it?
Thanks.
