Only half of the game screen shows up

When I started up Galactic Civilizations 2 for the first time today it worked perfectly and everything was great and then I turned off my computer and came back a few hrs later and started it again a 2nd time, and now only half the game screen shows up.

like when the logo screen comes up at the beginning, all i see is half the logo playing on the very side of the screen, but it takes up the full screen, its like only seeing half the game, with 1 monitor.

I have no idea why it does this and ive tried reinstalling, any help please?

so i wasted my 40 some odd dollars on this game cause even though i have the minimum requirements and all, it doesnt work? awessssssomeeee thanks for all the help guys?.....

i cant update my damn drivers, everytime i do the whole computer fucks up and like i cant play any games any more cause none of them work, so im stuck with the factory version of the drivers. 61.77 for mine...

if i try to update to any newer ones windows doesnt recognize it and its like working with no graphics card at all.

and seriously dude, dont ask such a stupid question "Have you tried updating your drivers" i think if i had problems thats the first thing anyone with any sense would try. So I wouldnt come here if that worked. Now some help for my problem would be nice.

If you had read even a fraction of the posts with issues that cleared up (or at least to an extent) after updating drivers that were well over a year old, you should have know the question was coming (and rightly so) UNLESS you included the information about them that you just posted.

I've honestly got no idea at the moment...went back through, been searching the posts to see if anything similar has come up...haven't found anything yet - but the search is limited.

suggestions so far

1 = wait on CodeCritter to come back... may want to bump once in a while
2 = help ticket = Link
3 = see if you can find out why no driver updates work for you (maybe nvidia - support) - maybe the BIOS?
