is there a way to keep saved hull designs from messing up when you use a different hull style?

this is in the demo

this is likely a problem only with the demo, but when I design something for say the Terran hull, but then in the next game switch to Drengin hull (which is pretty cool actually) and get to the techs that I get the ship at, it does show up, but its all messed up and the jewlery is all scrambled around. So is there a way to keep saved ship designs unique to that hull type because otherwise it gets all messed up.

like I said, this is likely something only in the demo because I don't see anybody else saying about that problem in the main game.

I've seen the same thing in the main game. I played Terrans, but chose the Altarian hull set, and in the next game as Terrans, I picked the Terran hull set, and all the designed were screwey. That was back in one of the earlier patches, and since then I've stuck with the Terran hull to avoid the problem, so I can't say for sure it's still there. But I've read all the change logs and haven't seen any mention of it.

In any case, it'd be nice if it only showed you your ship designs that match your current hull selection.

it does now. when you make a terran design, it stays with that ship graphic set.

once you buy the game, there are so many great updates

ok, cool, just what I needed to know I figured it was a demo issue (you know how demos are usually buggy....) but wasn't sure if it was fixed in the game.

I'll be getting the game for my B-Day coming in a few weeks on June 2nd, and man, I can't wait for summer vacation to start!!
