Stardock Bug: Attempt to open Stardock after registration download . . . nothing happens.

That pretty much explains it. Downloaded it twice, opened it, entered my info, it downloaded registration stuff, then told me to click FINISH. Then it closed, and wouldn't open again. I uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, redownloaded install, reinstalled, uninstalled, downloaded from another name (sdcentral_gc2_setup.exe vs. sdcentral_setup.exe) same problem every time. Uninstalled, deleted install file, rebooted, redownloaded install file, reinstalled, reentered info, same problem. Suffice to say I am incredibly frustrated with this software.

What? It's really hard to figure out what you mean. Theres no registration stuff for online users, the serial is automatically updated. Why twice? Did you try executing the program manually?

I run it for the first time, it tells me it has to download something for registration, it finishes downloading, tells me to click "FINISH" then when I click it, that window closes and the program won't open. And yeah, I've tried manual.

Are you talking about Stardock Central? Just checked the properties for it, and it is accessing this target:
"C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\loader.exe"

Yeah, tried that too manually. What finally worked was creating a new Stardock account on their website (using the same information) then validating that information (again). That and a window's update. Check out IE 7 btw. . .

What do you mean by that....?

Are you meaning that SDC will not work or the game itself, sorry but I can't understand exactly what you are meaning.?

IE7 sucks the same as any other explorer browser. Opera rules.
