I haven't heard anyone else mention this but I'll go ahead and do so since I recently discovered it and found it quite frustrating.
Now I've played a few games with the new 1.1 patch and lots of things seem cool. (Aside from some glitchy icons for starbase upgrades and reminders but those have always been there.)
However, I recently played my fist game that took more time than I could play in a day. I was having no trouble running it, but I was getting sleepy so decided to save it.
The Next day (Day I'm making this post) I loaded the game to find that the game basically became filled with skips, sound, graphics, and otherwise, and slow and unplayable. Now, I would expect that to happen if too much was happening at once, but it was fine before I loaded the save, is it possible the computer just can't handle all the data being loaded at once? Am I doing something wrong?
The skipping causes little blips in the sound and makes my cursor freeze for fractions of a second intermittantly, the worst part is it simply doesn't go away.
Now I do know that the skipping has something to do with memory, graphics or otherwise, which is understandable save that the game was FINE before I loaded my save, as of now it's simply hard to play the game and enjoy it because of the sluggishness and the cracking sound.
I hope someone else is having the same problem and not just me. (well, that's a bad way to put it, I wouldn't wish bad things on people

)
