German Collectors edition - how can i download the english patch?

i always end up at the collectors bonus stuff - but no patch there

Hi!
good game so far, i copied the english stuff in the german data dir and wanted to try out the english patch 1.0x since my german version is still 1.0. but i always get redirected at the collectors edition page. no patch there.
and i dont want to install the 7 MB stardock program just to download a patch.
so what is wrong with the site and why cant i download that patch?
