Today i was browsing the different pc magazines in one of the high street retailers, and came across may's issue of p.c. zone uk, so i open up to see what is reviewed.
Noticed all the new releases oblivion and so on and also the review of Gal civ2 on page 84 so i flick over and of course i look for the score as you do.
I nearly fainted when i set my eyes on it 'deep breath' 60%.
Now thats 60% out of 100% i then began to get angry 'how could they give one of my favourite games 60%' i started to read the review and it became clear it was a bad review a very bad review.
The reviewer began claiming the the interface was bad 3 paragraphs later yup he was still on that he then turned his attention onto the 3d engine, i pretty much gave up after that as i could not see anything remotley positive.
Overall i do wonder how on earth such a review was done and obviously i did'nt buy may's issue but i do feel that it was a deliberate attempt to affect the sales of a great game.
