Easiest way to transfer game to another computer?

I have a laptop that I play the game on but often I do not have an internet connection. I would like to be able to update the game without having to find a hotspot. What is the easiest way to update the game without using Stardock (connected to the internet).

Download the updates in file format to another machine and transfer them to some kind of medium the laptop can read.

The first patches I could d/l in this fashion, I don't think they've made it to where you are *required* to use StarDock for anything other than the betas.

You have to use Stardock Central to get the official update patches too - that is the way Stardock prevents piracy instead of using a DRM that requires you to keep the CD in the drive. They only released the first 1.1 Beta patch in the downloads because it was a weekend and they wanted to get it out and not wait for it to be put up on SDC. All the others since that one have been released through Stardock Central only.

You can download the game patches to your main pc - burn the files onto a CD and transfer them to your laptop. You can get an authorization from SD manually - but it takes some time I beleive. You have to email support to find out how.
