Here are some problems I found so far in BETA 2 :
1. Remember the bug we had in BETA 1 that spaceport set to started to build ships after upgrade ? Now we have something related - sometimes spaceports without any aperent reason just stop to build selected ship, just finish to build one and then switched by themselves to .
2. Tooltips that gone in 1.0X on ship production screen (after you hit "GO TO" on new ship built GNN event) for ship name are still not there.
3. Mouse problem (mouse cursor disapears, then after exit to Windows it apperars somewhere on screen but not moving while "something" invisible does moves and can be clicked) is still there.
4. Strange AI behavior once, played as customized humans "Normal" level, once Dreign declared a war on me and started suisuidal atacks on my fully built starbase fleet by fleet without causing any damage, after they destroyed about 6 or 7 fleets in about 2 turns without doing no damage to me they left without ships. While the 2 planets near that starbase was completely undefended.
5. Noted strange behavior of weapons/combat. Couple of times my ship with lasers (3) and 10 hitpoints lost to Altarian ship with mass driver (1) and 12 hitpoints (no defences on both) , and several simular fleet combats with my defenite advantage in weapons ended same way. May be I miss here but isn't the idea was 1 weapon does 1 damage (in case of no defences) ?
6. When ship "sits on" the starbase and you try to move it , it "exits" starbase and loose focus. A bit unconvinient as you have to select it again to move further.
7. Personally I would tweak somehow initial colonization rush to reduce.
