at the moment the combatsystem isn't satisfying me. I cannot say why, maybe because you mostly can say who wins before the battle starts.
First all A are dealing their damage to B and if he survives, he can deal some damage.
What about changing this system just a little bit? I thought of reandomizing the order of the weapons and let both fire after each other.
In detail this would look like this:
Round 1:
A is firering beamweapons on B
B has no bamweapons
A has no missiles
B fires beamweapons
A has no massweapons
B fires his massweapons on A
Round 2:
A has no massweapons
B fires his massweapons
A is firering beamweapons on B
B has no bamweapons
A has no missiles
B fires beamweapons on A
advantage: The combat isn't almost predictable and there are no random events.
