Music volume resets to maximum level after new/loading game

When I load or start a new game the volume of the normal game music resets to maximum level, ignoring any settings in options. I have to readjust the setting. (event music and soundeffects do seem to be fine though) edit: sorry, I did want to post in the bug forum, but it haven't worked...

Yes, someone please put this into the next (1.1?) patch. The music that accompanies the main menu is nice, but I don't want to have to hear it every time I play.

further clarification:

Seems only to occur if you start/load a game with restarting galcivII itself before.

And it's ONLY the NORMAL music, event music seems to be fine.
(title screen music appears to be event music)
