I was playing a normal game in a medium universe. I was the Dengrins, and the only AI computer player was Human. The difficulty was normal. While I know that the AI isn't at it most intellegent on the normal setting, it made a couple of strange choices that I thought I'd tell you about. I was basically at war for the entire game with the Humans, and when the United Nations (or whatever it's called) came up, the issue was restricting the number of trade routes an evil civ can have. I was the only evil civ in the game and the human had the advantage, so I expected to be limited to 1, but for some reason the AI chose 2. Kind of an odd choice.
Second, later on when I had the advantage, the humans voted to have the UN HQ in my space instead of theirs. While they had no chance to get the HQ anyway, it was still a strange choice. *shrug*
