About a year ago my MB fried out, after that was fixed a virus rendered my hardrive virtually unuseable. So I essentially had to build a new machine. Anyway I pretty much let all my games go, no big loss. So anyway I got the urge to play galactic civII again and installed it only to find that the only way to update it was through impulse. I went through the motions and turns out you need a stardock.net account to have anything to do with impulse. Well i knew i had a stardock account a long time ago but heck if i remembered my name and pass, so I made a new one, big mistake. I registered my product to my old account and an e-mail address i don't use anymore. My question; How can I get Impulse to accept my reg on my new account? They can easily compare the names on the accounts and see that I'm the same person. And that e-mail address still exists (I know 'cuz I had over 400 unread e-mail that I combed through looking for my old registrtion info.). So could they just send some kind of comfirmation number to one of the provided e-mail addresses? I really don't think it would be fair to have to "buy" a serial number, like the people who buy used copies considering I've already bought a serial when I purchased the game. If anything they could send my old account info to the old address and I should be able to log in to impulse with that and it should work, right?
